Camp Easterseals UCP is a fully handicap accessible camp in New Castle, Virginia (part of the Roanoke Metropolitan area) that provides life-affirming experiences to children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. At camp, people with disabilities have the opportunity to challenge themselves and grow personally in a supportive, barrier-free environment. Due to our low camper-to-counselor ratio and specialized equipment, campers find the aid they need to master new experiences–such as archery, horseback riding, rock climbing, canoeing and swimming. Week long overnight camps are for individuals 8 years and older. Younger children can participate in weekend family camps.
