Beach Kids Pediatrics is a unique medical practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia founded by husband and wife board-certified pediatricians, Drs. Bryan and Nan McDonald.
Our mission is to nurture your child’s physical, emotional, and cognitive health by providing exceptional pediatric care in a relaxed, fun, and welcoming setting. By keeping our volume of patients low, we are able to spend more time with your child as well as for your child. This results in a comprehensive and unrushed family experience not seen in larger medical practices.
As the parents of three young children, we understand the importance of a caring, close relationship between a family and their pediatrician. Whatever illness or problem your child has, we will always listen to all of your concerns, thoroughly explain the treatment plan, and address all of your questions that arise during your visit. Behavioral & Developmental Health
As your child’s pediatrician, we want to make sure your child is meeting each and every milestone of development. During well checks, we will have an open dialogue about your baby’s development and check these milestones, such as babbling, sitting, crawling, pulling up and many more.
If your older child is struggling in school, or you feel his speech is delayed or developmental milestones have not been met, Beach Kids Pediatrics can behavior evaluations for these issues. We will assess your child and refer him/her to speech therapy or a child psychologist for further evaluation. We know how important it is for the health of your child to have access to the appropriate therapies to catch up to his/her peers and begin to thrive in his/her learning environment.
