ASCV Teen Group (Richmond)

We currently have two social groups for teens with autism, one for middle schoolers in grades 6-8 and one for high schoolers in grades 9-12, that meet monthly throughout the school year. These groups are most appropriate for teens who need minimal support to participate in interactive games, recreational activities, and group discussions intended to promote positive peer connections and support the development and practice of social, communication, and interpersonal skills in a small group setting. The groups provide teens with opportunities to meet new friends in an accepting, safe environment, where they can be themselves and enjoy being part of a group.
When: Second Friday of each month
