A therapeutic riding program for all ages. Established in 1989 and currently serves hundreds of special needs individuals each year. EQUI-KIDS’ mission is to provide, promote, and support equine assisted activities for individuals who have mental, physical, social, or learning disabling conditions, as well as, serving our disabled military through our sister program, EQUI-VETS Service Program. Equi-kids is a premier Accredited Center through PATH, Intl., and a member center of the Therapeutic Riding Association of Virginia (TRAV). Additionally Equi-kids offers Hippotherapy and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy programs. We have riders from all areas of Virginia and participate in three, four, six, and eight- week sessions. Individuals may participate in group, private, or semi-private lessons.
