During Sensory Hour, we will open the library an hour early to provide a calm and sensory-friendly atmosphere. We will make specific adjustments to create a more comfortable experience, such as keeping the lights dimmed, providing paper towels in the bathrooms instead of hand dryers, and offering a safe and quiet space, in our small business suite and meeting rooms, for individuals who may need a break from stimulation. To enhance the sensory experience, we will also provide a variety of sensory items for patrons to utilize. Second and fourth Tuesday, each month, from 8-9 a.m.
