Established in 1999, the Personal Support Trust is a Special Needs Trust (SNT) Program designed to improve the quality of life for all individuals with disabilities while providing resources for their ongoing supplemental needs. Our special needs trusts are managed by The Arc of Northern Virginia, with pre-approval from the Social Security Administration, the Virginia Department of Social Services, the Maryland Attorney General’s Office, and courts in Washington DC. Â The goal of the SNT Program is to provide financial security to all people with disabilities, and thus a higher quality of life, knowing that their public benefits are safeguarded.
