Pediatric Dentistry is a recognized specialty which requires an additional two-year residency program after graduation from dental school. This additional training includes education on child psychology, growth and development, preventative and restorative techniques, sedation, and general anesthesia. Much like a pediatrician, we concentrate on treating children and adolescents, focusing on their physical and psychological needs.
